Ophthalmology
The ophthalmologist studies and proposes targeted solutions and therapies for all conditions affecting the eye, from childhood (congenital diseases, refractive errors) to adulthood (eye tumors, diseases of the retina, cornea, and lens).
Today's surgical techniques allow us to treat common pathologies, such as cataracts and glaucoma, or complex ones, such as retinal tumors, degenerations, and keratoconus.
The application of dedicated lasers can correct refractive defects such as myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.
Specific instrumental tests such as visual field, pachymetry, OCT, endothelial cell count, corneal mapping, tonometry, and biometry are performed daily by our specialists.
All test results are reported by a specialist doctor.
Diagnostic Tests
The use of technology for rapid diagnosis and , when possible, targeted therapy.
Pachymetry
Computerized tonometry
OCT Macula
OCT Optic Nerve

Refractive Surgery
Refractive surgery is a procedure that corrects vision defects such as myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. This procedure uses a laser to reshape the cornea and improve the eye's ability to focus, thus reducing dependence on glasses or contact lenses.

Pediatric Ophthalmology
The pediatric ophthalmology clinic treats all patients referred by pediatricians for routine checkups, as well as young patients with vision problems (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism), and congenital malformations.
Orthoptics
Orthoptics is a branch of ophthalmology that deals with alterations of the ocular muscles or the nerves that control them, combined vision disorders in both eyes, and in general sensory disorders affecting the visual system.
Evaluation of disorders through tests and measurements is used to assess the extent of possible problems (strabismus, ocular paralysis, difficulty focusing, etc.) and make a complete diagnosis.
To treat these disorders, the orthoptist can teach the patient special "ocular gymnastics" exercises; these can help the problem regress, and in some cases, even disappear completely.
The orthoptic visit is aimed especially at children because, with an early diagnosis and the right exercises, the problems encountered can be resolved.
Teamwork
A distinctive feature of orthoptics is the profound teamwork that is established between the ophthalmologist, the orthoptist, and the patient.
Orthoptic evaluation
Objective functional tests of the eye
Orthoptic training
Visual rehabilitation
Visual screening
