Diagnostic imaging

Available inSan Vito al TagliamentoPortogruaro

The POLISMedica ultrasound service carries out all the main ultrasound scans for adults and children needed for any further diagnostic investigation.

Thanks to the latest equipment, all images are of excellent resolution, allowing a precise and reliable diagnosis.

Our centre carries out endocrine, gynaecological and obstetric, breast, prostate and testicular, musculoskeletal and paediatric ultrasound scans, as well as Doppler and colour Doppler ultrasound.

Oncological ultrasound screening is particularly important: a set of ultrasound examinations (prostate, thyroid, skin, breast, abdomen) aimed at detecting the onset of cancer early.

Prevention saves lives

Only one woman in four has had a breast ultrasound in the last year, and 44% of women aged 30 to 44 have never had this examination.
